WHO WE ARE
Edup Connect was founded in 2024 with a clear focus: to give Indian school students, teachers, and leaders real exposure to international education systems through structured, safe, and academically meaningful study visits.
We are not a travel agency that added "education" to its packages. We are an education-first company that handles travel. Every itinerary we design is built around classroom interactions, university sessions, and learning outcomes that align with Indian school curricula.
Headquartered in Noida, we currently operate programs across six countries and partner with schools, universities, and accommodation providers in each destination we work in.
Our Story
Edup Connect was founded in 2024 by Upainder Agnihotri after years of working directly with Indian school principals, teachers, and education companies.
The founding moment came during a 2023 study visit to Australia. Accompanying a group of Indian school principals, Upainder watched a recurring pattern: international education practices that looked impressive on paper but were nearly impossible to apply in Indian classrooms. At the same time, schools wanting to send their own students abroad had two equally weak options. Commercial tour packages with a thin educational veneer, or unstructured trips with no academic accountability.
Edup Connect was built to close that gap. We design programs that are academically credible, operationally safe, and grounded in what Indian schools can actually take back and use. No imported theory. No travel agency dressing up as education. Real exposure designed for the Indian context.

Founder & CEO
Upainder Agnihotri
Upainder founded Edup Connect in 2024 after nearly a decade in sales, operations, and education sector roles, including leadership positions in education technology and teacher training. A first generation entrepreneur, he personally accompanies most Edup Connect programs and works directly with every partner school.
Director, Global Partnerships
Sawan Singh
Sawan Singh has over five years of experience in international education, global partnerships, and education program operations across India. He holds an MBA from Kurukshetra University and leads all partner sourcing, negotiation, vetting, and on ground operations across Edup Connect's destinations.
General Counsel
Megha Sharma
Megha Sharma is an Advocate with over six years of practice before the Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court, with prior work representing the Enforcement Directorate and supporting the Serious Fraud Investigation Office.
She advises Edup Connect on legal frameworks, compliance, child safety protocols, and cross border student travel regulations.

Shivangi Singh
Shivangi Singh holds an M.Sc. in Genomics and brings five years of experience in subject matter expertise, academic instruction, and student mentorship.
She advises Edup Connect on academic program design, curriculum alignment with partner institutions, and student learning outcome frameworks.

Discovery Call
We meet with your school leadership to understand academic priorities, grade levels, budget, dates, and learning outcomes you want from the visit.

Custom Itinerary Design
Our academic team designs an itinerary that integrates partner school visits, university sessions, cultural exposure, and structured learning outputs. You see a full draft within 7 working days.

Discovery Call
Our legal team prepares parental consent documents, insurance enrollments, visa documentation packs, and medical declarations. Schools receive a complete documentation toolkit.

Pre Departure Preparation
Students and accompanying teachers attend an orientation session covering cultural expectations, daily schedules, communication protocols, and emergency procedures.

On Ground Execution and Post Visit Report
Edup Connect staff accompany every group. After the trip, schools receive a complete photo and video archive, plus a learning outcome report tying the visit to your school's curriculum priorities.
