From 8th to 13th September 2025, a group of bright commerce students from RV Learning Hub and RV PU College, Bengaluru embarked on a transformative international study visit to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, curated by Edup Connect. This week-long educational journey was designed to blend academic exposure, cultural immersion, and real-world learning — and it delivered just that.

Academic Exposure: Real Institutions, Real Insights

The students visited two of Malaysia’s top universities:

  • Universiti Malaya – Malaysia’s oldest and most prestigious institution. Students toured the campus, explored academic life, and interacted with university staff about global education opportunities.

  • Sunway University – A modern, career-focused university known for innovation and entrepreneurship. Students attended a guided session on global business trends and career pathways in commerce.

School Immersion at Sri KDU: Collaboration in Action

One of the most enriching parts of the tour was the student exchange and collaborative project session at Sri KDU International School. Students engaged in:

  • Peer interaction with local Malaysian students

  • A group project on e-commerce and economics, tailored for commerce backgrounds

  • Group presentations and discussions

Culture & Sightseeing: Experiencing the Soul of Malaysia

To balance the academic intensity, students explored the rich culture and modern landscape of Kuala Lumpur. The sightseeing itinerary included:

  • King’s Palace

  • Putrajaya City Tour (including the iconic mosque & PM House)

  • Petronas Twin Towers

  • Independence Square

  • Chocolate Factory Visit

  • Central Market & Chinatown – A glimpse into Malaysia’s vibrant street life and crafts

  • Genting Highlands Cable Car Ride & Mall Visit

Leisure Moments: Dance, Pool & Party Time

What’s a student tour without a little fun? Students enjoyed:

  • Dance & Music Night at the hotel

  • Pool relaxation sessions with their peers

  • Group bonding and souvenir shopping

These lighter moments built friendships, boosted confidence, and created lifelong memories.

Final Reflections: A Journey Worth Taking

This was not just a trip, it was a transformation. Our students returned more confident, globally aware, and inspired to aim higher. Through university visits, peer learning, cultural exposure, and personal growth, they gained valuable insights that go far beyond textbooks.
